A variety of wild orchids is flowering at National Trust of Guernsey’s pretty little meadow in the Talbot Valley.
A fine pastoral view can be enjoyed from a bench, whilst leaving the orchids undisturbed – please be mindful of social distancing if there are other visitors. Parking is at the entrance to The Ron Short Walk, a five minute way away and a little further along the Talbot Valley road (heading towards Kings Mills/the coast).
Here’s a map link for use with smartphones – search for Orchid Field and Ron Short Walk to see parking and meadow location.
If you would like a copy of our published map, please email and we will be delighted to post: [email protected]
We hope you enjoy nature’s annual spectacle at this very pretty spot, at the heart of one of Guernsey’s beautiful valley areas.
