There’s never been a better time for you, your friends and fellow Islanders to explore the best of Guernsey’s heritage and nature.

The site is en route to some spectacular cliff path walks and National Trust land areas at Le Bigard and Le Gouffre. The thatched farmhouse is easily seen on the right hand side of the lane going down to Le Bigard and Le Gouffre.

In 1999 the Trust embarked on extensive and sympathetic restoration of the main house at Les Caches. Some twenty years later, the entire property including many outbuildings and the restoration of an apple orchard as depicted in the 1787 Duke of Richmond Map, achieved award-winning status with 2019 International National Trusts Organisation top award in the Open House category for its successful restoration and the property’s potential to offer a heritage place to a wide community.
