We are delighted to welcome back to the Museum, The Guernsey Spinning Group.
This small group of heritage crafters will already be familiar to many Islanders, as demonstrators at the Trust’s annual Lé Viaër Marchi, when Guernsey traditions and heritage skills celebrated.
If you would like to learn more about wool is made into yarn, using a traditional spinning wheel, please come along to the Museum at Saumarez Park on the following dates – always a Thursday and once a month between July and October inclusive:-
Thursday 16 July 10:00 am – 12 noon
Thursday 20 August 10:00 – 12 noon
Thursday 17 September 10:00 – 12 noon
Thursday 15 October 10:00 – 12 noon
Entry Adults: £6 | OAP/Student: £4 | Children 7-18: £2
