We are sorry to announce the cancellation of Lé Viaër Marchi 2020, which had been planned for Monday 6th July.

This is not what we had hoped for during this Diamond Anniversary year for National Trust of Guernsey but following government advice and in times of such uncertainty, this is our responsible course of action.

With this decision comes clarity for stallholders, service providers and event organisers, all of whom help make Lé Viaër Marchi the hugely popular annual gathering that it has become.

We would like to thank everybody who had booked a stall, large or small.
Our stallholder/supplier administrator will be in touch with you as soon as possible.

For artisan crafters and food/refreshment suppliers, mindful that you create items particularly for this event, we are loosely working on the idea of a much scaled down Viaër Marchi at the Folk and Costume Museum Courtyard late summer/early autumn – ‘Lé Petit Viaër Marchi’. We will share any plans when the current situation becomes clearer.

Thanks to the support of stallholders, demonstrators, artists and the magnificent visiting public, Lé Viaër Marchi has become the most important annual fundraising event for National Trust of Guernsey. There will inevitably be financial implications with the cancellation of this event, not only for the Trust but for event suppliers and traders too.

Thank you for your understanding.
À la perchoine.
