Guernsey’s great annual get-together, celebrating the best of Island traditions, on Monday 2nd July 2018, at Saumarez Park from 5pm until sunset. The Folk and Costume Museum also hosts a special event on the evening of Lé Viaër Marchi, with costumed-actors bringing exhibitions to life and demonstrating old Guernsey traditions. The popularity of the original ‘Guernsey Evening’ on the courtyard back in 1970, fuelled the growth of Lé Viaër Marchi into the much-anticipated event that it is today. Lé Viaër Marchi remains ‘A Guernsey Evening’ and an annual event attracting crowds of about 5,000 Islanders and visitors.
